You will be the RN Co-ordinator to the team in a not-for-profit home care organisation. No more shift work! That's right -You'll have your weekends free and your Monday to Friday work week will be filled with diversity. You'll have time with the team in the office as well as out on the road visiting the people that the team cares for. 
 
You will accept referrals from the likes of DHB's, MOH, ACC, NASC and then plan the delivery of services to consumers with diverse care needs. You will guide, support and motivate a team of support workers in the delivery of care. You will use your knowledge and professional communication to ensure the care delivered is of the highest standard and that it meets the consumer's needs and supports their independence. 
 
As the ideal candidate you will be an enthusiastic RN who is early in your nursing career and feeling the pull towards the rewards of being a part of care in the community. If that is you, we want to hear from YOU!
 
You'll have:
 

• Current registration with NCNZ


• Current Drivers licence (Full Licence Class 1).


• A sympathetic nature and a genuine empathetic concern for the elderly and people living with disabilities.


• A propensity to detail and the capability of dealing with the administration work related to this role.


• The enthusiasm to guide the team of community support workers to the delivery of quality care


• A natural eagerness to stay organised, be busy and strive for consumer satisfaction in service delivery.


• Competence to an intermediate level in the use of Microsoft word and databases
