Te Hau o Te Ora Invercargill is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our supportive team in a 1.0 FTE role. With 2,007 enrolled patients and the introduction of an exciting new service, our practice provides an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, work alongside a highly skilled nursing workforce, and contribute to improved health outcomes for patients and whānau across our community.



About us:


At Te Hau o Te Ora Invercargill, you’ll be part of a collaborative and capable team that includes nursing colleagues, a Health Improvement Practitioner, a Health Coach, and a large administrative team. Together, we are committed to improving health outcomes, addressing health equity, and ensuring every patient and whānau receives the right care and support.



What you will bring:



  • Strong cultural confidence and competence, with whānau at the centre of care.

  • An understanding of the socio-economic and cultural determinants of health.

  • A self-motivated, independent approach, alongside a genuine love of teamwork.

  • In-depth knowledge of, and passion for, primary health care.

  • Current Authorised Vaccinator and Smear Taker certificates, desired but not essential.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Trained in Australasian Triage Scale desired but not essential.

  • A current Annual Practising Certificate and CPR certificate.

  • Prior experience with Medtech Evolution, desired but not essential.
