This is an ideal opportunity for a Primary Care or Urgent Care Nurse who enjoys variety and flexibility in their work. You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple clinics, build strong patient relationships, and make a meaningful impact within diverse communities.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are current Authorised Vaccinators, as immunisation delivery is a key focus of this role. Experience in cervical screening, and HPV self-testing is highly desirable.

Working alongside General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, and multidisciplinary clinical teams, you will help deliver high-quality, patient-centred care that supports positive health outcomes.

What You Will Do

As a key member of the clinical team, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care across multiple clinic locations.
  • Administer vaccinations and support immunisation programmes.
  • Undertake cervical screening, and HPV testing where appropriately qualified.
  • Support long-term condition management and preventative healthcare initiatives.
  • Provide health education and promote positive health behaviours.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.
  • Support clinics across Mt Roskill, Stoddard Road, Sandringham, and West Auckland based on operational requirements.

What You Will Bring

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate.
  • Previous experience working within Primary Care or Urgent Care.
  • Current Authorised Vaccinator certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A commitment to delivering culturally safe, patient-centred care.
  • Flexibility and confidence working across multiple clinic locations.

The following would be highly advantageous:

  • Cervical screening certification.
  • Experience with HPV self-testing programmes.
  • Experience managing long-term conditions.
  • Knowledge of MedTech Evolution or a similar patient management system.

Candidates who are Authorised Vaccinators and interested in further developing their cervical screening and HPV testing skills are encouraged to apply.

About the Team

You'll be joining a supportive nursing team dedicated to delivering accessible, community-focused healthcare across Auckland. Working across multiple sites provides the opportunity to broaden your clinical experience, develop new skills, and work alongside experienced healthcare professionals committed to your growth and success.

What We Offer

  • A supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Structured rosters provided six weeks in advance to support work-life balance.
  • Above market pay rates with access to our in-house SECA framework.
  • Ongoing learning, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • The opportunity to further develop your immunisation, cervical screening, and preventative healthcare skills.
  • A meaningful role supporting local communities and making a real impact on patient outcomes.

If you are a Primary Care or Urgent Care Nurse with Authorised Vaccinator certification and a passion for preventative healthcare, we'd love to hear from you.

Whether you are already experienced in cervical screening and HPV testing or looking to further develop these skills, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team making a real difference in the community.

Applications may be reviewed as they are received, so we encourage early applications.
