Senior Business Controller - Commerce

About the role

We’re looking for a commercially focused Senior Business Controller to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Sales teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and help drive profitable growth across grocery and on-premise channels. You’ll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and pricing analysis, ensuring strong financial discipline and clear visibility of performance.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide financial analysis and decision support to Sales teams


• Deliver regular reporting and insights on volume, revenue, and margins


• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles


• Analyse pricing, promotions, and customer performance to drive profitability


• Partner with stakeholders to support commercial decision-making


• Support key account reviews and promotional planning


• Drive improvements across financial processes and reporting


• Help build capability by supporting teams to better understand financial data

What you’ll bring

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or similar (CA preferred)


•  At least 5+ years’ experience in financial analysis, business partnering, FP&A, or commercial finance


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights


• Good understanding of pricing, margins, and commercial performance


• Advanced Excel skills (experience with tools like SAP or Anaplan is a bonus)


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills


• FMCG experience is advantageous
