Senior Developer Neo4j - CONTRACT

As a senior developer, you will help shape robust, modern software solutions while working closely with technical and business stakeholders to improve outcomes, strengthen delivery quality, and bring thoughtful ideas to the table.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of software for commercial and end-user applications.
• Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high code quality and minimise defects.
• Support the resolution of defects within your domain and clarify gaps or ambiguities in functional and technical design.
• Provide progress updates, highlight delays, and recommend code or process improvements to business leads.
• Collaborate with project leads, customers, and business owners to provide thought leadership on improvements and technologies.
• Work with relevant team members to develop, code, configure, and report on solutions that meet business requirements.
• Take responsibility for your personal and professional development and stay current with best practices and technologies.

• Graph Databases: Proven hands-on experience designing, querying (Cypher), and integrating Neo4j within commercial applications.
• Full-Stack Development: Strong experience across both front-end (e.g., React) and back-end (e.g., .NET, Node.js) technologies.
• API Integration: Experience with GraphQL frameworks (such as Apollo or Hot Chocolate) or RESTful API architecture.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Demonstrated success delivering scalable, cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Engineering Best Practices: Proficiency with modern CI/CD deployment pipelines, automated testing, and peer code reviews.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication skills with experience working directly with clients or non-technical business partners.
