About the Role:
We’re currently looking for an experienced, senior electrician to join our team in Westport on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor electricians and apprentices.
Coordinate projects from planning through to completion.
Liaise with customers, consultants and subcontractors.
Carry out commissioning, testing and fault finding.
Assist with quoting, planning and project execution.
Maintain a strong focus on quality, customer service and health and safety.
What We're Looking For:
This is a hands-on role where you'll lead projects, support and mentor staff, liaise with customers and deliver quality outcomes across a diverse range of work.
The ideal candidate will have:
Current New Zealand Electrical Registration and a practising licence (EWRB).
Experience in Industrial, Mechanical and Controls (IMC) environments, including motors, VSDs, PLCs and process control systems, will be highly regarded.
Experience with solar PV installations would also be an advantage.
Proven experience leading projects and supporting teams.
Knowledge of New Zealand’s electrical safety regulations, and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Full New Zealand driving licence.
The legal right to work in New Zealand.
