About the Role:

We’re currently looking for an experienced, senior electrician to join our team in Westport on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor electricians and apprentices.


• Coordinate projects from planning through to completion.


• Liaise with customers, consultants and subcontractors.


• Carry out commissioning, testing and fault finding.


• Assist with quoting, planning and project execution.


• Maintain a strong focus on quality, customer service and health and safety.

What We're Looking For:

This is a hands-on role where you'll lead projects, support and mentor staff, liaise with customers and deliver quality outcomes across a diverse range of work.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Current New Zealand Electrical Registration and a practising licence (EWRB).


• Experience in Industrial, Mechanical and Controls (IMC) environments, including motors, VSDs, PLCs and process control systems, will be highly regarded.


• Experience with solar PV installations would also be an advantage.


• Proven experience leading projects and supporting teams.


• Knowledge of New Zealand’s electrical safety regulations, and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.


• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication and customer service skills.


• Full New Zealand driving licence.


• The legal right to work in New Zealand.
