Service Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our Hamilton Service team and play an important role in the continued success of Terra Cat in the Waikato.

Based at our Hamilton branch in Pukete, this is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll bring together people, customers and performance. You’ll lead from the front, build a strong and engaged team, and ensure our customers receive the responsive, high-quality service they expect from Terra Cat.

Our Hamilton site brings together Technicians, Sales, Support Services and Managers, making this an opportunity to work closely across the wider branch rather than operating in isolation.

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day performance of the Service operation, with a strong focus on:

• Leading and developing your people
• Delivering for our customers
• Driving operational performance
• Building capability
• Working collaboratively
• Championing safety

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who knows how to get the best from people while keeping customers and commercial outcomes firmly in sight.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Proven leadership experience within the service and/or heavy equipment industry, or a similar operational environment
• The ability to lead, coach and develop a diverse team
• A genuine customer-first mindset and confidence building long-term relationships
• The ability to balance competing priorities and make good decisions in a busy operational environment
• Clear, confident communication and a collaborative leadership style
• A practical approach, plenty of initiative and the drive to keep improving how we do things
