We are seeking a Healthy Homes Assessor & Smoke alarm technician with strong people skills, knowledge of the construction/building industry, technical expertise, familiarity with client interactions, and the ability to learn quickly. Key responsibilities include servicing and installing smoke alarms, completing Healthy Homes assessments, and communicating with clients/contacts on-site.

About the Role
We are looking for a Smoke Alarm Technician & Healthy Homes Assessor to join our team and work independently in Queenstown.

This role primarily involves installing and assessing smoke alarms using our tools/systems. These are stand-alone (non-complex/wired) battery-powered smoke alarms. Initial growth in this role looks like learning to undertake Healthy Homes assessments.

We are looking for someone self-motivated, who has great time management, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic to meet the needs of our clients.

Requirements:

• You must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a valid work visa

• Knowledge/experience in construction/building

• Professional English language proficiency

• Experience dealing with customers

• Excellent time management skills

• A clean, current, and Full New Zealand driver's licence

• A high ability to follow and understand instructions

• Advanced competency/experience with technology

• Currently based in New Zealand
