We’re looking for an experienced Urgent Care Doctor to join our team in Remuera, Auckland. You’ll manage a varied range of acute presentations, make meaningful clinical decisions and work alongside experienced GPs, nurses and support staff who understand the demands of urgent care.

With established systems, clear escalation pathways and a collaborative team around you, you can focus on delivering safe, effective care in a modern, well-run environment.

About the role

You’ll assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and unplanned presentations, providing timely, patient-centred care to our diverse community.

Working closely with the wider clinical team, you’ll bring your clinical expertise to a varied and rewarding role where every day offers different challenges.

Your roster will include Monday to Wednesday, Friday from 2pm to 8pm, and one weekend per fortnight.

About you

You’re a confident clinician who enjoys the pace and variety of urgent care and takes a considered, patient-centred approach to clinical decision-making.

You’ll bring:

• Relevant urgent care experience and confidence managing a broad range of acute presentations.
• Current Medical Council of New Zealand registration, or eligibility for registration under an appropriate pathway, with a suitable scope of practice.
• Strong clinical judgement, sound decision-making and an ability to recognise when escalation is needed.
• A collaborative approach to working with doctors, nurses and the wider clinical team.
• A commitment to safe, high-quality patient care.
