Warehouse Cleaner

About the role  

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Cleaner to join our team at our Dunsandel site. This role plays an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic warehouse environment that supports our food safety, quality, and operational standards.  

Working in a busy warehouse environment, you’ll take ownership of a range of daily and weekly cleaning activities, ensuring warehouse areas are maintained to a high standard. This is a hands-on role that requires initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while remaining flexible and willing to support the wider team when needed. 

This role is Monday to Friday working from 7am - 4pm. 

What you’ll be doing 

The main responsibilities of this role include: 

• Completing scheduled daily and weekly cleaning tasks throughout the warehouse. 
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, housekeeping, and hygiene across operational areas. 
• Identifying and promptly reporting cleaning, maintenance, safety, hygiene, or pest-control issues. 
• Using and storing cleaning equipment, chemicals, and consumables safely and correctly. 
• Helping prevent foreign matter contamination and supporting food safety and warehouse hygiene standards. 
• Assisting with other reasonable duties as required to support the smooth running of the warehouse. 

Skills and Experience   

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:   

• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is a bonus. 
• Experience operating mobile equipment and machinery is an advantage, with a willingness to learn and follow all safety procedures. 
• A practical, can-do attitude and the ability to follow cleaning schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures. 
• A keen eye for detail, ensuring our warehouse is clean, tidy, and ready for the day ahead. 
• Initiative and a proactive approach, with the flexibility to adapt when priorities change. 
• The confidence to work independently while being a supportive and valued member of the wider team. 
• Our warehouse is a large facility that keeps you moving throughout the day so you will need to be comfortable being on your feet.
