Civil Engineer Civil & Structural Works (Solar PV Infrastructure)

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Civil Engineer – Civil & Structural Works (Solar PV Infrastructure) in Oman. Our client is seeking skilled, motivated professionals with strong civil construction expertise and relevant exposure to solar PV or industrial projects. Key Responsibilities

• Execute civil and structural works associated with solar PV infrastructure projects.
  
• Supervise construction of foundations and concrete works in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
  
• Coordinate structural steel and aluminum erection activities at project sites.
  
• Perform and verify setting-out and surveying activities for foundations and structural installations.
  
• Monitor site construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and project schedules.
  
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, surveyors, and engineering personnel to resolve construction-related technical issues.
  
• Inspect completed civil and structural works and identify corrective actions where required.
  
• Maintain site records and support progress monitoring for civil and structural activities.
  

Required Skills

1. Civil Construction: Strong practical knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution.
   
2. Solar PV Infrastructure: Experience handling civil works associated with solar PV or similar industrial projects.
   
3. Concrete & Foundation Works: Ability to execute and monitor concrete foundations and associated civil works.
   
4. Structural Steel/Aluminum: Knowledge of steel and aluminum structures and structural erection activities.
   
5. Setting-Out & Surveying: Hands-on understanding of site setting-out, levels, alignment, and surveying requirements.
   

Preferred Skills

• GCC construction project experience.
  
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary site activities.
  
• Familiarity with large-scale solar PV or industrial infrastructure construction environments.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates must have 5–8 years of civil construction experience, including a minimum of 2–3 years in solar PV or industrial projects. Relevant experience should include foundations, structural steel erection, setting-out, and surveying. GCC experience is preferred.
