Civil Foreman

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Civil Foreman in Oman. Our client, New Alfa International, is seeking skilled and experienced civil construction professionals with strong site supervision capabilities. The role focuses on civil works associated with Solar PV construction, including foundations, structural activities, and coordination of site execution. Candidates with Solar PV or industrial project experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at Solar PV project sites.
  
• Coordinate and monitor foundation works according to approved civil and structural drawings.
  
• Supervise structural steel erection activities and ensure correct installation.
  
• Read and interpret civil and structural drawings for accurate site execution.
  
• Monitor workmanship and ensure civil activities comply with project specifications and quality requirements.
  
• Coordinate site manpower, materials, equipment, and daily work activities to maintain construction progress.
  
• Identify site execution issues and coordinate corrective actions with engineers and project personnel.
  
• Maintain safe and organized working conditions during civil and structural construction activities.
  

Required Skills

1. Civil Site Supervision — Strong hands-on ability to supervise civil construction activities and site teams.
   
2. Civil/Structural Drawing Reading — Ability to interpret drawings and translate technical requirements into site execution.
   
3. Foundation Works — Practical experience supervising foundations and related civil works.
   
4. Structural Steel Erection — Experience monitoring structural steel erection and installation activities.
   
5. Construction Coordination — Ability to coordinate manpower, materials, work fronts, and technical requirements.
   

Preferred Skills

• Solar PV construction project experience.
  
• Industrial construction project exposure.
  
• Experience coordinating civil and structural work packages.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates must have 8–10 years of experience in civil construction supervision, including practical experience in foundations and structural steel erection. Solar PV or industrial project experience is preferred.
