About you\:  

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• High School Diploma (essential); a vocational qualification or certification in Floristry, Horticulture, or a related field would be an advantage.

• 1–2 years of experience in floral design, preferably within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment, with a strong understanding of flower care, arrangement techniques, and decorative displays.

• A creative eye for detail with the ability to produce high-quality floral arrangements that meet luxury hospitality standards, while maintaining excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. The candidate should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with operational departments to support guest experiences and special events.

About the Job\:  

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Florist - Housekeeping to join Jumeirah Muscat Bay. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Carry out daily floristry operations in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. 

• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while maintaining Jumeirah Group's commitment to world-class hospitality. 

• Maintain adequate stock levels of florist supplies, including ribbons, wires, wrapping paper, and other essential materials, to meet operational requirements. 

• Support the Food & Beverage team with floral arrangements and decorative setups for special events in line with the events calendar. Prepare, arrange, and maintain flower and greenery displays throughout the hotel, ensuring they remain fresh, clean, and visually appealing. 

• Monitor daily in-house flower requests, prepare cost-control reports, inspect incoming flower deliveries for quality, reject substandard items when necessary, replenish floral displays as required, create flower arrangements that meet Jumeirah's aesthetic standards, and perform any other duties assigned by management.
