IT monitoring solutions implementation engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IT monitoring solutions implementation engineer to support customer projects involving ManageEngine OpManager and related infrastructure monitoring solutions.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in networking, IT infrastructure, and system monitoring concepts. The selected candidate will work with customers to understand their requirements, implement OpManager, configure monitoring, set up dashboards and alerts, prepare documentation, and support successful project delivery.

This is a product implementation role, not a NOC monitoring role.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and configure ManageEngine OpManager for customer environments
  
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into monitoring configurations
  
• Perform device discovery and onboarding for routers, switches, firewalls, servers, VMs, and other IP -based devices
  
• Configure availability, bandwidth, performance, interface, and service monitoring
  
• Set up alerts, thresholds, notifications, dashboards, reports, and user roles
  
• Work with SNMP, WMI, Syslog, ICMP, and other monitoring protocols
  
• Support integration with related IT tools where required
  
• Troubleshoot implementation issues and coordinate with internal teams or vendor support when needed
  
• Conduct basic user training for customers after implementation
  
• Prepare project documentation, configuration details, handover notes, and completion reports
  
• Maintain good communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle
