Lebanese Food Chef

• Culinary
  Excellence: Prepare and cook authentic cold and hot Lebanese mezze,
  kibbeh, mixed grills, stews, and traditional desserts in line with
  five-star hotel standards.
  
• Menu
  Development: Assist the Executive Chef in designing and updating
  seasonal Levantine menus, buffet displays, and promotional events.
  
• Quality &
  Consistency: Monitor food taste,
  portion control, plate presentation, and temperature compliance during every
  service
  
• Hygiene &
  Sanitation: Maintain strict
  adherence to HACCP guidelines, Omani municipality food safety regulations, and
  kitchen cleanliness
  
• Inventory
  & Cost Control: Supervise stock levels, rotate inventory, minimize
  food waste, and assist with precise ingredient ordering.
  
• Team
  Leadership: Train, mentor, and schedule junior kitchen staff and
  commis chefs to build a cohesive, high-performing culinary unit.
  

Requirements

• Experience:
  Minimum of 7 years of professional kitchen experience focusing strictly on
  Lebanese/Oriental cuisine, with at least 3 years in a luxury hotel or
  upscale restaurant environment.
  
• Education:
  Culinary arts degree or recognized professional kitchen/hospitality
  certification.
  
• Technical
  Skills: Deep mastery of Levantine flavor profiles, authentic spice
  blends, and modern plating techniques.
  
• Safety
  Knowledge: Certified or fully knowledgeable in HACCP and international
  food safety protocols.
  
• Soft
  Skills: Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language
  proficiency is a distinct advantage.
  
• Flexibility:
  Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and work flexible shifts,
  weekends, and holidays.
