QC/QA Engineer is responsible for developing, implementation and managing of the quality
management systems for the nacelle. They ensure all processes,
components and final products meet internal standards and requirements, client specifications
and any regulatory requirements. The QM leads the quality department team, supervises quality
inspectors and engineers, they drive continuous improvements and acts as the primary contact for
all quality relevant matters with customers, suppliers and auditors (internal and external).
Key Responsibilities:
• Development and implementation QMS procedures for the nacelle
in compliance with ISO and other relevant standards.
• Design and industrialization of the nacelle relevant to quality
equipment.
• Lead and manage the QC/QA team of the nacelle.
• Establishing and enforcing of inspection procedures and protocols for incoming materials,
components, assembly process and final QC/QA
• Certifies the compliance of the finished products with the specifications and requirements
• Development and completion of accompanying QC/QA documentation for finished
products
• Manage supplier QC/QA of raw material certification, inspection reports and NCRs
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventative actions (CAPA)
• Support and coordinate internal and external audits for any certification and regulatory
board (i.e. ISO, UL, DNV)
• Enforce QHSE policies and procedures in the workplace
• Provide training of production team on QC/QA standards and procedures
• Monitor and analyze quality KPIs, to identify any trends and opportunities for optimization
• Review OEM design and documentation and manage transfer to local facility
• Contribute in communication with engineering team, production team and management
• Represent the plant in client quality meetings or orientations
• Oversee the start of serial production and address nonconformities
Requirements
• Master’s pr bachelor’s degree in mechanical, process engineer, Industrial or quality
engineering
• 5+ years of experience in quality control/assurance, production foreman and quality
inspector
• Certification in quality management
• Strong communication, training and cross functional leadership skills
• Fluency in English
Core Skills
• Knowledge in WTG components, especially nacelle
• Proficient in reading engineering documents, drawings and technical specifications
• Knowledge of certifications and requirements
• Capable of conducting root cause analysis
