Job Description - Sales Engineer

Qualifications:

Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

5 to 12 years of experience in the GCC (Preferably Oman Experience).

Specific experience in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly with equipment such as skids, pressure vessels, camps, tanks, porta cabins, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas sector.

Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients.

Provide technical support and solutions tailored to client needs.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to prospective customers.

Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product capabilities and support sales processes.

Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits, ensuring profitability and high levels of client satisfaction.

Stay updated with industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

Prepared and delivered detailed proposals to prospective clients.

Collaborated with engineering teams to customize solutions according to client requirements and project specifications.

Manage key accounts, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring repeat business.

Ensuring implementation of projects along with emphasizing timely completion and within budget with focus on enhancing Profitability.

Resolving customer complaints/feedback; providing technical & engineering support to company personnel as well as to subcontractors to ensure compliance with engineering standards, project design & specification.

Interact with suppliers for items & quotation discussions and negotiation, working closely with the Purchasing Team to assess alternative sources and finalize requirements.

Work as a point of contact for clients, supporting all requests and queries promptly identifying risks of projects and developing strategies.
