Job Title: Sales Officer 

Department: Personal Banking 

Reporting to: Cluster Head - SAED Sales 

Main role (Overall accountability):

• Sales officer is responsible for business development in designated area comprising of single or multiple branches. This is not a branch service role Principal Accountabilities.


• Achieve monthly sales targets for key bank products (new deposits, loans, new to bank customers, bancassurance, investments/wealth etc.) as allocated.


• New customer acquisition based on sales targets.


• Advise customers on their banking relationship to increase their total relationship size with the bank by suggesting various products which suit his/her needs regularly (cross selling).


• Monitor each customer’s product details for cross selling and efficient and effective service.


• Complete daily customer contact targets (outside meetings, outbound calls etc.)


• Keep customers informed of new products, services and benefits offered by the bank.


• Meet customers outside the bank regularly.


• Provide personalized service for all types of customer transactions including meeting the customers outside the bank to collect instructions or deliver the requirements.


• Resolve customer queries within the given time frame without escalation.


• Document activities, contacts/calls made, meetings, follow-through action and results achieved as per MIS requirements for the role.


• Engage in periodic performance review with the reporting authority and Head Office Staff.

Personnel Specification:

• Bachelor's in Business or relevant field.


• GPA 2.5 and above.


• 2023-2026 graduate.


• Registered as a job seeker.


• Good knowledge of products, services, operational policies and procedures.


• Sales orientation.


• Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, tact and flexible approach.


• Knowledge of Banking systems and PC operations.
