7. Health&Safety
â¢Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) principles
â¢Strong understanding of electrical safety risks associated with MV and HV systems, including live equipment, switching operations, testing activities, energisation and commissioning of Wind, Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
â¢Ensure that EPC contractors, OEMs and subcontractors fully comply with project HSE policies, electrical safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) requirements and site-specific safety rules.
â¢Active participation in the preparation, review and approval of Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Electrical Switching Procedures related to electrical works.
â¢Support and oversee safe energisation, switching and commissioning activities, ensuring proper coordination with site HSE teams, grid operators and control room personnel.
â¢Promote a strong safety culture and “Zero Harm” mindset, leading by example and reinforcing safe working practices across multidisciplinary project teams.
