Senior Quality Engineer (Nacelle & Hub)

Responsible for all quality relevant tasks
of Blade and Nacelle & Hub plants, they will be responsible for all
activities, documentation, processes related to materials and products of the
facilities. They will be developing, implementing and managing quality
management systems for both facilities. They will ensure all processes,
components and final products meet internal standards and requirements, client
specifications and any regulatory requirement. They will lead the quality
departments and their teams in supervising quality inspectors and engineers.
They will drive continuous improvements and acts as the primary contact for all
quality relevant matters with customers, suppliers and auditors

Key Responsibilities

• Front person for
  the Quality assurance and control team
  
• Guide layout and
  environmental requirements of quality equipment and facilities
  
• Develop and
  implement QMS procedures in compliance with ISO and relevant standards
  
• Oversee
  installation and validation of Quality tooling and equipment
  
• Lead and manage
  the QC/QA teams of both the Nacelle & Hub and Blade facilities
  
• Review OEM
  design and Quality documentation and manage transfer to factory
  
• Coordination
  with certification bodies
  
• Oversee start of
  serial production and address non -conformities
  
• Analyze
  production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  
• Oversee training
  of engineering and inspection staff on QC/QA techniques
  
• Support and
  coordinate internal and external audits for any certification bodies or
  regulatory bodies
  
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Master’s degree
  in engineering (aerospace, mechanical or materials)
  
• 10+ years of
  experience
  
• Proved
  experience in setting up or optimizing industrial facility for quality related
  equipment
  
• Certification in
  quality management
  
• Cross functional
  leadership skills
  
• Track record of implementing quality, safety and environmental
  compliance systems
  
• Deep knowledge of quality assurance techniques and ISO requirements
  
• Solid knowledge of NDT techniques
