Job purpose

Execute the activities related to B-60 gas / Oil Off Plot including , instruments, pipelines, ESP(s), DG(s), VFD(s), injection/disposal pumps, transformers, MSV(s) during well test, well-testing, water section, evaporation ponds, reed beds etc.; in order to ensure maintenance performance and equipment reliability targets to support safe and efficient operations at the site.

The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Operates the gas / Oil off-plot assets including, instruments, pipelines, ESP(s), DG(s), VFD(s), injection/disposal pumps, transformers, MSV(s) during well test, well-testing, water section, telecommunication towers, evaporation ponds, reed beds etc…


• Executes plans for off plot gas field production operations/Facilities activities according to budget ensuring operability of the facilities and outputs quality are achieved in a safe/ environmental and cost-effective way.


• Responsible for weekly / daily work program; distribution of job to individual with guidance


• Execute the coordination to ensure that the Gas/ Oil off plot production operation requirements is implemented according to production plan. Work closely with Reservoir Engineering team and Production operations team to make sure production targets are met.


• Communicate with contractor and co-workers to meet job requirement.


• Accountable and responsible of following up health and safety and ensure HSE standards are met. Implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and best practices. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

Education requirements

Diploma in Engineering, or related.

Language requirements 

Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required)

Background and experience

Competencies and skills

• Diploma In Engineering or Oil


• 3+ years of relevant experiene


• Experience in Oil & Gas Industry

• Adaptable and motivated general management strategist who relishes challenges.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and multi-cultural sensitivity.


• Computer literate with expertise in MS Office.


• Hands on experience at managerial level in Oil & Gas disciplines.   


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
