Receiving
• Receive deliveries, verify quantities, quality, temperature where applicable, expiry dates, and documents.
• Match deliveries against LPOs, invoices, delivery notes, and approved product specifications.
Storage & Organization
• Store items according to FIFO/FEFO, food safety, hygiene, temperature, labeling, and segregation standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, secure, and properly labeled dry, chilled, frozen, and chemical storage areas.
Issuing & Records
• Issue items only against approved requisitions and maintain accurate system/manual stock records.
• Record transfers, returns, damages, wastage, expiry, and stock movements on time.
Stock Control
• Monitor reorder levels, slow -moving items, expiry risks, shortages, and overstock situations.
• Participate in daily checks, cycle counts, monthly stock counts, and variance investigations.
Coordination & Compliance
• Coordinate with procurement, kitchen, service, cost control, and finance on stock requirements and documents.
• Report rejected items, missing documents, supplier issues, stock damage, and security concerns immediately.
