About you\:  

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Sports/Recreation Management, or a related field (essential); certifications in Health & Safety, First Aid, or Fitness Instruction (desirable).

• 2–4 years of experience in recreation, fitness, or Kids Club operations within a luxury hospitality environment, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of recreation operations, guest service, health and safety standards, and the ability to lead a team while delivering engaging recreational experiences for guests of all ages.

About the Job\:  

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supervisor - Recreation to join Jumeirah Muscat Bay. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Recreation facilities, including the Kids Club and Health Club, ensuring all areas are safe, clean, well-maintained, and operated in accordance with Jumeirah standards and departmental procedures.

• Supervise, coach, and support Recreation colleagues by preparing schedules, providing training and guidance, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest service while maintaining high operational standards.

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver engaging recreational activities, fitness programmes, and Kids Club experiences that are age-appropriate, innovative, and aligned with guest expectations and the resort's activities calendar.

• Monitor the condition and operation of recreation and fitness facilities, ensuring equipment is maintained, health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures are consistently followed, and regular inspections are conducted to maintain a safe environment.

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints, providing personalised service to all guests, including families and VIPs, while resolving issues efficiently and escalating concerns when necessary.

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, activities, inventory, and operational reports, support revenue-generating initiatives through the promotion of recreation and wellness programmes, and contribute ideas that enhance guest engagement, service quality, and continuous improvement.
