Technical Lead Enterprise Payments & SWIFT- technical implementation

We have an urgent requirement for Technical Lead – Enterprise Payments & SWIFT- technical implementation of an Enterprise Payment Hub (EPH) is required for one of our banking client in Oman 

 Hands on technical experience and functional knowledge in Enterprise Payment Hub Platform.--Must

Strong experience end-to-end experience in ACH, RTGS, GCC RTGS, Instant Payments, SWIFT CBPR+, SWIFT GO, ISO 20022, MT/MX transformations.is THE Must

Strong experience real-time and batch integrations with Core Banking via ESB/middleware is MUST

Strong experience at least one full-scale Enterprise Payment Hub or SWIFT/ISO 20022 implementation is MUST

Domain Knowledge: Domestic clearing and settlement /Cross-border correspondent banking Payment validation and orchestrations Account posting and reconciliation Regulatory compliance for local & international payments---Must

Role Purpose:

The Project Technical Lead will be responsible for leading the end-to-end technical implementation of an Enterprise Payment Hub (EPH) vendor solution across the bank. This role ensures seamless integration with Core Banking Systems, customer/business channels, middleware, external clearing networks and SWIFT while ensuring regulatory compliance, high availability, security and performance. The role act as a primary technical authority between the bank, system integrator, vendor and internal stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:1. Project Technical Leadership:  • Act as the single technical authority for the EPH project.  • Own all technical executions across design, build, configurations, testing and go-live.• Translate business, regulatory and operational requirements to detailed technical solutions• Serve as technical escalation point during the full project life cycle.Domestic and Cross-Border Payments Enablement:• Lead and execute technical delivery for ACH, RTGS, GCC RTGS, Instant Payments integrations.  • Lead and execute technical delivery for SWIFT CBPR+, SWIFT GO, SWIFT API Integrations• Define and validate ISO 20022 Message Structure and MT/MT transformations• Ensure Central Bank and SWIFT compliance for all payment flows.Integrations with Core Banking via Middleware:• Lead real-time and batch integration between EPH and Core Banking through ESB.• Ensure Exception handling and automated reconciliation between integrated systems.Integration with Customer & Business Channels:• Lead EPH integration through ESB with:o Mobile & Internet Banking o Branch / Teller Systemso Corporate and Business Banking platformso Host to Host and Swift API integrations o Instant/speed transfer integrationso Integration with AML, Sanction Screening, Fraud Management SystemsSecurity, Compliance & Audit Readiness:• Ensure full project compliance with Central Bank regulations, SWIFT CBPR+, ISO 20022• Compliance with Bank Information security and cyber security policies.• Lead and support security reviews and penetration testing and remediation activities.• Support audit / regulatory inspection remediation activitiesTesting, Cutover and Go-Live:• Define Test strategy and test data• Perform hands on deployments & configurations in UAT• Define and Govern SIT, UAT, performance, stress and failover testing.• End-to-end payment scenario testing  • Integration testing with clearing networks and SWIFT• Data migration and reconciliation validation• Define, cutover, rollback and deployment plans• Lead parallel runs, production deployment.Project Documentation and Knowledge transfer:• Own and maintain all mandatory project documentations including:o HLD, LLD o Interface and API specifications o Message Mapping and Transformation documents o Security and Architecture documentso DR & BCP design o Test strategy and go live plano Lead structured handover to support teams.Vendor & System Integrator Governance:• Provide hands-on technical oversight of vendors and system integrators.• Review and approve technical designs, build deliverables, test results and security artifacts.  • Ensure delivery quality, regulatory compliance and architectural alignment.
Qualifications & Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.• 8 -10 years of overall IT experience.• 6+ years in hands on technical experience in payments Systems (Domestic and Cross Border – SWIFT, RTGS, ACH)• 3-5 year as Technical Lead in banking payments systems projects• Proven delivery of at least one full Enterprise Payment Hub or SWIFT/ISO 20022 implementation in Technical Lead role with hands on experience.
Technical & Functional Skills:• Hands on technical experience and functional knowledge in Enterprise Payment Hub Platform.• SWIFT CBPR+, ISO 20022.• Domestic Payments (ACH, RTGS), Instant Payments/Speed Transfers• Knowledge of Core Banking Integration (real-time & batch) and Middleware (ESB)• API, Micro Services,• Messages Queues (IBM MQ, Kafka)  • Database: Oracle, MS SQL• Linux environments, OpenShift Platform  • Security: Encryption, Certificates, RBAC, Key Management
