Engineering and Development Corporation of the Philippines (EDCOP), founded in 1955, is the pioneer engineering consultancy in the Philippines. Its principal office is at the 10th Floor, JELP Building, 409 Shaw Boulevard, Brgy. Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City in Metro Manila, Philippines.
The establishment of the firm was prompted by the belief that, in the economic development of the country, the Filipino himself must be in the forefront. Likewise, it was anchored on the conviction that the Filipino engineers have attained the professional maturity and competence to be able to contribute to the nationwide aspiration and march towards growth and progress.
The company’s objective is to provide comprehensive and reliable range of planning and engineering services throughout the Philippines, from project inception, design, and construction management to post-project evaluation. Since its founding, it has developed a national reputation for a responsible and dependable service. It was granted recognition as an ISO 9001:2015 certified firm for engineering of and design service for power, water resources, transportation systems, geotechnical & environmental systems, integrated area development and commercial & industrial establishments and project management services (PMS) including pre-construction, construction, and post construction services.
For almost 70 years now, the name EDCOP has been recognized nationwide and associated with specialized professional consulting services for land, water and energy resources development. EDCOP has completed more than 1,000 projects, serving more than one hundred clients, most of whom have engaged EDCOP’s services on repeated occasions and in different projects.
