Job Description - Accountant

Key responsibilities:

Management and Accounting for the AP/AR functions

Maintenance of the General Ledger

Maintenance & Reconciliation of the Fixed Assets Register

Prepare and submit monthly BAS Returns to ATO

Complete monthly bank reconciliation

Prepare month end journals

Assist with Payroll for AU and PNG (Working with external provider)

Provide management with relevant information and reports as required including variance analysis.

Support process improvements.

Other ad hoc accounting and /or admin activities

Experience in group consolidation and Xero is desirable.
