Accountant, Financial Reporting

• Preparation of adjusting journal entries during
  month end accounting close procedure
  
• Preparation of timely financial reports and
  divisional analysis
  
• Review and reconciliation of profit & loss
  accounts. Coordinate transactions with other departments to obtain accuracy of
  information for financial reporting analysis.
  
• Computation of tax dues and preparation of
  monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR tax returns (1601E, 1601F, VAT, Income tax,
  Percentage taxes, etc.)
  
• Prepare required attachments to BIR returns
  (alpha lists and listing reinforcements, etc.)
  
• Adhere to other BIR, PEZA and SEC statutory
  requirements
  
• Up -to -date with BIR issuances and
  pronouncements; Involvement in tax audit procedures with the BI (preferred)
  
• Assist in the preparation of audited financial
  statements
  
• Communicate requirements with external auditors
  during interim and annual audit including but not limited to providing audit
  schedules and supporting documentation
  
  

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  
• Extensive understanding of financial accounting and statutory accounting principles
  
• Ability to comprehend complex financial information
  
• Has strong analytical and problem -solving skills
  
• Highly organized with the ability to work toward tight deadlines even under pressure
  
• Can work efficiently and effectively under minimal supervision
  
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word skills. Knowledge in MS Power point a plus
  
• ​Experience with audit firms preferred
