We are a fast-growing fintech startup in the banking sector, currently expanding our service offerings to include accounting solutions for our banking clients.

About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated Offshore Accountant/Bookkeeper. This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground level, with the potential to help shape the future of the team and grow alongside the business.

You will be working closely with our in-house CPA (who leads this function), focusing initially on core accounting tasks with a clear path to expand your scope as we scale.

Responsibilities

● Perform bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

● Manage monthly closes and ensure timely reporting

● Support future services such as bill pay, invoicing, taxes, and general back-office accounting functions

● Collaborate directly with the internal team to build efficient workflows and client support systems

Qualifications

● 5+ years of accounting experience, with strong knowledge of accrual accounting and US GAAP

● Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must

● Experience with Xero is a plus, but not required

● Experience in US tax is a plus, but not required

● Familiarity with tools like Bill.com, Ramp, or similar platforms is a bonus

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment

● Self-starter who can take initiative, solve problems independently, and adapt quickly to evolving needs
