Accounting Specialist

We are seeking someone who is accurate, detail-oriented, and motivated. Who takes ownership of deadlines and accuracy concerning financial reporting. Someone who is willing to dig in and follow up to ensure timeliness and accuracy. This role helps lay the long-term foundation of AXIS.

Reports to the Accounting Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

• Process invoices, receipts, and vendor payments


• Monitor credit card usage and ensure reconciliation


• Maintain accurate ledgers and reconcile accounts

Secondary Responsibilities

• Transfer utilities for on- and off-boarding properties


• Assist with monthly reporting and financial tracking


• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial workflows

Qualifications

• Interest in real estate, business, or property management


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• High attention to detail and organizational abilities


• A mindset focused on relationships, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency


• Agile mindset; Adaptable and comfortable with change, excited by growth


• Self-starter with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively


• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn industry tools (i.e. AppFolio)
