Job Title: General Accounting VA (Part-Time)

Rate: $4–$5/hour

Schedule: Full Time | Part-time

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable General Accounting Virtual Assistant to support our US-based clients. This role focuses on bookkeeping, basic accounting tasks, and assisting with tax-related processes. If you’re organized, numbers-driven, and comfortable working remotely, this could be a great fit.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks (data entry, categorization, reconciliations)


• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable


• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports


• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes


• Support tax preparation by organizing financial documents and reports


• Ensure accuracy of financial data across accounting systems


• Communicate with clients regarding financial updates and requests


• Use accounting tools like QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms

Requirements:

• Experience in bookkeeping or general accounting (preferred but not strictly required)


• Familiarity with US accounting practices is a plus


• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar software


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Good communication skills (written and verbal)


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines


• Stable internet connection and reliable work setup

Nice to Have:

• Experience handling US taxes or working with US-based clients


• Background in accounting, finance, or related field


• Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant
