The Role

We are looking for an AP/AR Officer for an Australian real estate agency who will manage the VPA (Vendor Paid Advertising) finalisation process for properties moving through to settlement, reconciling costs between the client's real estate CRM and accounting system, and liaising with sales representatives on outstanding costs.

Key Duties

  • Receive, verify, and process invoices in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage vendor accounts to ensure payments are made on time.
  • Perform regular reconciliation of supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain proper documentation for AP transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, wire transfers, and online payments.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Process incoming payments, ensuring proper allocation to client accounts.
  • Prepare and update financial reports related to AP/AR for management.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Manage VPA finalisation checks when a property goes under offer.


Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance related role in Australian based company is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in any accounting software is preferred
  • Strong understanding of AP/AR processes, principles, and accounting standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

This role is subject to a number of skills and possible online practical tests.

This position is an onsite role at our Pampanga office. Candidate must be willing to work on-site.
