Assistant Engineering Manager

We are looking for a passionate individual who is responsible for the maintenance and repair equipment throughout the Hotel to ensure they are in good working order, and Hotel complies with all building regulations and mandatory test and inspection of these systems.

Key Accountabilities

• Oversees and maintains all high and low voltage electrical systems to ensure reliability and immediate response to breakdowns.


• Supervises the maintenance, testing, and compliance of the Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS) with regulatory requirements.


• Supports the Engineering Manager in maintaining and repairing all electrical and HVAC systems across the hotel.


• Ensures all electrical equipment and systems meet building regulations, including mandatory inspections and testing.


• Conducts preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment (e.g., kitchen, laundry, motors, lighting, and panels) and reports issues impacting operations.

General Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in Hotel operation


• Understand the Duties and Responsibilities of Duty Engineers and all Engineering staff


• Demonstrate technical know how of Preventive maintenance and projects inside the Hotel


• Technical know how on the budget preparation and Cost savings initiatives
