• Read contracts and comprehend the criteria within the contract applicable to invoicing.
  


• Perform project setup and maintenance in Deltek Vantagepoint software according to contract terms.
  


• Set up billing terms to ensure final invoices comply with the client terms.
  


• Prepare and submit invoices through electronic means to ensure client processing and payment. (External payment portals)
  


• Maintain meticulous records of invoices and backup documentation.
  


• Communicate with clients, legal staff, or others to coordinate revisions or adjustments for resubmission.
  


• Other tasks are fielding questions from clients, clerical staff, and others.
  


• Cooperate with the cash manager to ensure that their work adheres to the standards, guidelines, procedures, and deadlines set by the company.
  


• Preparing special documents as required by the client.
  


• Responsible for accurate entries for invoice supporting charges such as mileage logs, units, proof of payment and consultants.
  


• Coordination with AR department for invoice related collection issues on for their assigned projects.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma with 2+ years of accounting/billing experience.
  


• BS degree in accounting preferred.
  


• A general knowledge of billing and collection practices is necessary.
  


• Self-starter who can thrive in a dynamic environment under short timelines and changing priorities.
  


• Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of output.
  

Systems:

• ERP experience, Deltek Vantagepoint preferred
  


• Advanced Excel skills
