Job Description - Branch Sales Channel Manager


This role is open for both iAspire candidates and external talents. We encourage you to refer candidates to this role.


Position Title:  Branch Sales Officer (South Metro Manila)


Job Summary




  • The position is responsible in growing the card acquisition business in the assigned area.  The jobholders should be able to utilize all programs and sales channels available such as but not limited to the Metrobank Branches and other units of Metrobank outside the Branch Banking Sector (BBS), PSBank Branches, and own sourced applications.




  • Apart from building relationships, the jobholder should be able to spot opportunities for growth in his/her respective area by tapping businesses and other existing and emerging markets for credit card products and services. In addition, the jobholder should be able to service the branches in their inquiries, grow its distribution channel (referrers) and provide consistent performance updates.




Specific Duties & Responsibilities



  • Generate designated card acquisition targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis utilizing all available channels such as Branch Sales, and own-sourced applications on the area assigned.  In support, the jobholder must be able to suggest and implement card sales programs and strategies to his/her Region Manager to ensure achievement of sales targets despite the highly competitive cards environment.

  • Create masterplan/roadmap on how targets will be achieved and ensures close monitoring of the execution of the plans.

  • Submit required reports to the branches, area and region assigned and CBS management, and ensure quality turn-ins and approvals based on the approved targets.

  • Conduct regular sales and product briefings to branches within his region/area and communicate to the branches all relevant communication, marketing campaigns, credit policies and other related matters in a timely manner.

  • Develop orientation and presentation materials and conducts training to all branch personnel in meeting the quality standard of credit card applications and meeting the target pass rates and approval rates of the branches in his/her assigned territory.

  • Promote acquisition opportunities and programs to existing Metrobank clients/ partners, subsidiaries and other external markets via programs.

  • Conduct branch visitations and business reviews (monthly, quarterly, and annually) for Metrobank branches, other Metrobank groups, e.g. PSBank.

  • Conduct regular engagements with Area/Region Heads of his/her assigned territory.
