CFO

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function for a fast -growing FMCG organization in Angola. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing financial strategy, financial planning & analysis, compliance, risk management, and driving business growth through strong financial leadership. The role requires deep experience in FMCG operations, retail distribution, and multi -location financial management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  

• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team in decision -making and long -term planning.
  

• Provide financial insights to support expansion, investments, and profitability.
  

2. Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long -term financial planning processes.
  

• Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  

• Present financial reports and dashboards to senior leadership.
  

3. Financial Operations & Controls

• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, taxation, and audit functions.
  

• Ensure robust internal controls, compliance, and governance frameworks.
  

• Manage working capital, cash flow planning, and banking relationships.
  

4. FMCG & Retail Financial Management

• Manage financial operations across large retail store networks and distribution channels.
  

• Track product profitability, pricing strategy, inventory costs, and supply chain financials.
  

• Ensure efficient financial management of high -volume FMCG operations.
  

5. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and international financial standards.
  

• Manage internal and external audits and mitigate financial risks.
  

6. Team Leadership

• Build and lead a high -performing finance team.
  

• Mentor finance leaders across accounting, FP&A, treasury, and compliance functions.
  

Key Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Finance, with significant exposure to FMCG or Retail industry.
  

• Proven experience as CFO / Finance Director / Head of Finance in a large organization.
  

• Strong experience managing multi -location retail or FMCG distribution businesses.
  

• Expertise in financial planning, corporate finance, taxation, compliance, and treasury.
  

• Experience working in international markets or emerging economies is preferred.
  

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking abilities.
  

Educational Qualifications

• CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent finance qualification.
  

• Additional global finance certifications will be an advantage.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SAP / ERP -based financial systems.
  

• Strong understanding of FMCG supply chain and distribution economics.
  

• Ability to manage large -scale financial operations in a fast -paced environment.
