Job Description - CONFIDENTIAL: Senior Graphic Designer

Responsibilities

    About the role
    We're looking for a senior designer who is a true creative. You'll work directly with our Creative Director, taking briefs from idea through to finished design. This is a creative role, not a layout or production role.
    Our developer builds the websites you design.

    What you'll do
    • Create brand identities and logos.
    • Design posters, flyers, marketing material, social media graphics, pitch decks and magazines.
    • Do Photoshop work, including retouching and image compositing.
    • Design websites in Figma, in desktop and mobile versions, ready to hand to our developer.

Requirements

    What you need:
    • Senior-level design experience with formal design training.
    • Expert Photoshop and Illustrator.
    • Website design in Figma, using components for repeated elements.
    • Experience using InDesign.
    • Branding experience, including logos and brand identities.

    Nice to have:
    WordPress, Shopify, After Effects, Premiere Pro or CapCut, Mailchimp and Klaviyo.
    Working knowledge of AI tools such as Claude, used to support the design process.

    About you
    • A proactive self-starter. You spot what needs doing and do it.
    • You read briefs carefully, take notes and follow them through to the finished result.
    • You review supplied files before you start, and check before changing anything outside the brief.
    • You bring questions straight to the Creative Director, early.
    • You produce consistent, quality work every day, across multiple projects.
    • Calm and confident under tight deadlines.
    • Supportive and generous. You make the people around you better.

Work Arrangement

  • Work Setup: Flexible Work Arrangement
  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Sydney time, should complete nine (9) hours work
