Constructability Engineer (Archi/Struct)

Job Summary:

To work on a variety of Construction projects under the Architectural / Structural field. At any stage of the project, the Constructability Engineer may be responsible for reviewing the project to identify the areas where constructability concepts can be applied. The reviews aim to reduce wastage caused by design errors, delays, or rework.

Responsibilities:

• Review 3D Models from consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with the BIM Execution Plan


• Conduct clash detection, clash organization, and clash grouping using Navisworks Manage and BIMTrack


• Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit for compliance to normal constructability standards and compliance to the BIM Execution plan


• Manage / Update BIM Project Documents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree Architecture or any engineering-related course


• Must have plan reading knowledge (Architectural, Structural)


• With hands-on experience using Navisworks


• With good grasp of Construction principles


• With basic understanding of Revit (Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Revit MEP)


• With good grasp of Architecture and Engineering principles


• With good analytical, presentation, and communication skills
