Coolway Trans is an Australian refrigerated transport and logistics company specialising in temperature-controlled freight across multiple states. Their reputation is built on reliability, customer service, and ensuring critical freight reaches its destination safely and on time.


As part of the Customer Service team, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while coordinating closely with operations, warehouse teams, planners, and drivers.



What You'll Do



  • Be the primary point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.

  • Manage freight bookings and delivery scheduling.

  • Keep customers informed with delivery updates, ETAs, delays, and service changes.

  • Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, and Drivers to ensure smooth deliveries.

  • Process Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation and maintain accurate records.

  • Track shipments and proactively communicate freight status.

  • Resolve customer enquiries and investigate service issues.

  • Prepare professional responses to customer complaints and escalate where required.

  • Maintain accurate information within the Transport Management System (TMS).

  • Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring customer issues.



✅ What You'll Bring



  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience.

  • Previous experience in transport, logistics, freight, warehousing, or supply chain is highly regarded.

  • Experience managing customer enquiries via both phone and email.

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication.

  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer-first mindset.

  • Experience using CRM, TMS, WMS, or similar systems is highly desirable.

  • Microsoft Office proficiency.



⭐ Bonus Points If You Have



  • Experience in refrigerated or cold chain logistics.

  • Experience using JAIX or other Transport Management Systems.

  • Knowledge of freight bookings and Proof of Delivery processes.
