Cybersecurity Engagement and Communications Specialist

Support leaders in the development and execution of change management and communication plans (70%)

• Actively participate in cross functional teams delivering cybersecurity initiatives around the world

• Build change and communications plans facilitating strong stakeholder engagement, reducing impacts to business, and supporting role clarity

• Collaborate with business owners to draft, edit, and iterate communications products, both written and visual, in support of the overall communications plans

• Ensure communications plans are aligned to project execution plans

• Monitor distribution of communications products via various channels including email, Teams, SharePoint and other tools

• Be a brand ambassador for Chevron’s suite of branding tools and demonstrate excellence in this space

• Demonstrate top tier document management habits

• Prioritize effective and targeted communication, balance volume of information going to the stakeholders

Small project support (20%)

• Provide quick turn (under 48 hours) presentation editing, proofreading and other communications support

• Ensure branding is on point, grammar and punctuation are appropriate

• Support External Presentation Review process

• Be flexible and accommodating to ensure quality communications are delivered across cybersecurity

Cybersecurity event facilitation (10%)

• Support and facilitate cybersecurity events such as open mics, guilds and briefs in addition to assigned projects

• Prepare run of show, conduct dress rehearsals and provide feedback to presenters

• Ensure events are scheduled and booked well in advance

• Produce presentation materials needed as directed by the business owners

• Manage logistics and invitations

• Develop post event packages including recordings, condensed transcripts and other products as needed for close out

• Collaborate with leaders to finalize all action items
