Job Description - Deal Desk Specialist

We are looking for a Deal Desk Specialist to drive profitability across the organization by owning the end -to -end Deal Registration process. This role partners closely with Sales and Pre -Sales teams to ensure registrations are managed efficiently, discounts are maximized, and every opportunity for increased deal profitability is identified and acted upon.

Strong opportunity recognition and clear internal communication are critical to this position, making the Deal Desk a valued partner to the Sales teams it supports.

As our Deal Desk Specialist, you will:

  • Become a subject matter expert on Vendor Deal Registration and Bid Programs and support Sales throughout the deal registration process.
  • Identify opportunities to increase the number of deal registrations by working closely with Solutions & Alliances, Sales, Renewals, and other internal teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Vendor Sales Specialists to ensure transparent tracking and maximize deal registration success.
  • Support sales enablement by training teams on workflows and sharing key business insights.
  • Consistently follow up with vendors regarding the status of pending deal registrations.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries sent to the Deal Desk email alias.
  • Execute reporting to identify and address missed deal registration opportunities.
  • Calculate and advise Sales on protected margin related to special cost deals.
  • Own the onboarding process for new vendor partner programs.
  • Advise Sales on incremental discounts, stacking opportunities, and manage deal registration expirations.
  • Collect and analyze deal registration data from target vendors to assess Deal Desk impact on profitability.
  • Ensure all special cost cases are accurately captured and entered into systems in a timely manner, while optimizing profitability.
  • Provide backup support to the Deal Desk Supervisor during periods of absence (PTO).
  • Support special projects as needed.


Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Demonstrated passion for serving internal customers while driving profitability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail -oriented, organized, and team -focused.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify issues, requirements, and improvement opportunities.
  • Positive attitude with a strong collaborative mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of business experience, preferably in a technology company, reseller, distributor, or sales -related role.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with Salesforce or SAP is an advantage.
  • Strong Excel skills for reporting, tracking, and margin calculations are highly preferred.
