Job Description - Digital Content Editor

Accountabilities

Editing/Publishing Tasks:

  • Proofread, copy-edit, research and publish Journal issues to press

  • Review materials/components for content inclusion, style and formatting

  • Check converted or online data against original source for accuracy and completeness

  • Publishing content for hardcopy journals and online articles.

  • Updating of Publishing Trackers

 Quality Analysis:

  • Maintain accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all individual and applicable team deliverables by following best practices, policies and procedures

  • Perform peer transactional audits (Quality check and Quality Assurance) as may be embedded in the workflow or as needed

Project Management:

  • Create and manage timelines to ensure titles are published on schedule and quality is met

  • Communicate well with onshore partners and third-party resources and provide clear, concise, and knowledgeable information on legislation titles in production

  • Promote good relationship with editors and other external resources in resolving any issues, highlighted concerns to meet service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Collaborate with the stakeholder to provide assistance on matters pertaining to project management

  • Perform other editorial tasks

 Author/Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage author correspondence for certain projects in terms of content updates and query/ies

  • Provide timely updates and communication with stakeholders

 

Qualifications:

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any field

  • Any editorial and publishing experience is a plus

  • Good communication skills

  • Detail-oriented

  • Good time management skills /can manage multiple projects

  • Willingness to be cross-trained and utilized in other processes
