Job Description - Digital Planning & Support Manager, Ikano Retail

Company Description

We also develop, own and operate Shopping Centres that are anchored by IKEA and create walkable communities by including residential, office and other types of real estate in our development plans.

Job Description

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Support

  • Lead the annual budget, business plan, and forecast cycles for all Digital Services functions and markets.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant submissions aligned with corporate assumptions.
  • Partner with Finance and Business Navigation teams to review cost allocations, track digital spends and optimize investments.
  • Drive cost transparency and budget control through continuous monitoring and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and present Digital Board (DBDBC/DBDC) materials with actionable financial insights.

Performance & Business Navigation

  • Act as Business Navigator by analyzing performance trends, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting decisions with data and benchmarks.
  • Develop and maintain digital cost models, KPIs, and dashboards to support performance management.

C. Governance, Processes & Continuous Improvement

  • Own and evolve planning processes, governance routines, and reporting frameworks, ensuring simplicity and standardization.
  • Leads and steers process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and governance in financial and planning operations.
  • Enhance collaboration tools to improve consistency and efficiency across teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial acumen with good understanding on financial concept
  •  Understanding of Digital/IT service models, cost drivers, and investment planning
  • Broad business understanding , preferred: Deep knowledge of IKEA Retail and Shopping Centre business planning and processes with ability connect financial and operational insights.
  • Awareness of new technology trends and how they can benefit our business.
  • Understanding of agile and scrum ways of working
