Job Description - Editorial Associate II

Job Summary:

The Editorial Associate (EA) will take up the role of either a Data Analyst (DA) or Pre-approver (PA) in a particular task will work closely with other Editorial associates who plays specific roles within the workflow such as Data Analyst, Pre-Approver, and Approver in reviewing the submission and set-up documents from labelers and entering product information into the Product Editorial Tool (PET). The EA will also manage government pricing update for various states. The role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of product information entered in the database.

Key Responsibilities:

Tasks for each workflow or product type will vary and will include:

Data Analyst

  • Review set-up documents as provided by the marketer
  • Validation of product information from FDA site, company website, product website
  • Create and edit product records in Product Editorial Tool (PET)

Pre-Approver

  • Conduct a peer review of products that are newly added or updated in PET
  • Ensuring products are entered based on set-up documents and editorial policies and guidelines

Government Pricing

  • Prepare Import sheets from the reports generated from the pricing report portal
  • Complete the process of importing new or updated price
  • Map missing identifiers to corresponding Specific Product Description

Qualifications:

  • Must be a bachelor's degree holder
  • Must be a licensed pharmacist
  • Knowledge in CI (Continuous Improvement and AI related projects or efficiencies) is a plus.
  • The EA must be able to manage a large volume of work within predetermined schedules.
  • They must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving, while being detail-oriented with a strong focus on content quality.
  • Willing to take initiative, including having the confidence to prioritize tasks and make and document decisions independently.
  • Comfortable handling challenges, be open and honest about issues, learn from them, and demonstrate excellent collaborative skills.
