Estimator (for a Millwork company) Quickbooks efficient

Remote VA is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estimator to join our Millwork company team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in preparing detailed and accurate estimates for millwork projects while efficiently using QuickBooks for financial tracking and invoicing. This remote role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive estimates for millwork projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage project budgets, track expenses, and generate invoices.
• Review project drawings and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding project timelines and cost estimates.
• Assist in bid preparation, proposal submissions, and contract negotiations as needed.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and financial documentation.

• Proven experience as an estimator in the millwork or related construction industry.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks for budget management, invoicing, and financial tracking.
• Strong ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
