Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Cost Optimization – Project Choluteca

• Lead strategic cost optimization initiatives in support of Project Choluteca.

• Identify, validate, and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety, quality, or project schedules.

• Review manpower and consultant requirements and recommend optimization opportunities.

• Identify non-standard requirements across the fleet and drive standardization where feasible.

• Review project and operational budget items to identify opportunities for deferral, reduction, or cancellation.

• Partner with project, engineering, operations, and finance stakeholders to ensure alignment and governance.

2. Vendor Performance Management (VPM)

• Develop and implement a standardized Vendor Performance Management (VPM) framework across the organization.

• Establish VPM policies, performance metrics, governance structures, and escalation mechanisms.

• Lead the development of VPM implementation guides, training materials, and adoption plans.

• Drive data-driven supplier performance reviews to improve quality, delivery, cost, and risk management.

• Strengthen vendor accountability and support continuous improvement initiatives.

3. Demand Planning & Integrated Supply Chain Planning

• Design and implement a structured, integrated demand planning framework to improve forecast accuracy and material availability.

• Conduct assessments of existing demand planning processes, data, and tools.

• Ensure alignment of demand planning with maintenance activities, shutdowns, and capital projects.

• Define end-to-end demand planning processes, governance models, roles, responsibilities, and planning calendars.

• Establish demand inputs for S&OP / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.

• Develop maintenance-integrated demand models translating maintenance plans and project schedules into material demand.

• Define planning assumptions, planning horizons, and exception management processes.

• Optimize inventory levels, working capital, and supply chain responsiveness.
