PURPOSE

WORK OVERVIEW

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
  
• Deliver reporting with financial analysis and operational insights
  
• Monitor project profitability, margins, revenue, and operational costs
  
• Monitor project -wise profitability, cost allocation, labor utilization, and operational margins
  
• Develop and maintain analytical reporting across departments, projects, and service lines
  
• Produce project cash flow forecasting and financial visibility reporting for management
  
• Assist management in identifying financial risks, overruns, and operational inefficiencies
  
• Support WIP tracking, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis across ongoing projects and managed services
  
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  
• Develop KPI and management reporting dashboards
  

Accounting & Financial Controls

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting accuracy
  
• Manage month -end and year -end closing processes
  
• Review reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and adjustments
  
• Strengthen internal controls, approval workflows, and financial governance
  
• Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness
  
• Monitor accounting accuracy across purchasing, invoicing, payroll, and expense allocation
  
• Ensure proper analytical allocation of costs and revenues within the ERP/accounting system
  

AP / AR & Cash flow Oversight

• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  
• Improve collections processes and overdue debt monitoring
  
• Monitor supplier payments and cash flow planning
  
• Support operational teams in improving billing accuracy and cost visibility
  
• Assist in managing credit control processes and customer payment follow -up
  
• Monitor cash flow exposure and financial obligations across projects and operational activities
  

Leadership & Operational Support

• Directly manage and mentor the finance team, including three bookkeepers and an Accounts Receivable Officer
  
• Improve finance processes, accountability, and reporting standards
  
• Work closely with operations, procurement, and management teams
  
• Assist with ERP optimization and reporting improvements
  
• Ensure finance team tasks, reconciliations, collections, and reporting deadlines are properly managed and completed
  
• Help build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department
  

Compliance

• Coordinate VAT filings, corporate tax submissions, and statutory compliance requirements
  
• Work closely with external auditors, accountants, and tax consultants during audits and financial reviews
  
• Review finance team outputs to ensure accounting accuracy and compliance before submission
  
• Ensure proper supporting documentation and audit trails are maintained across the business
  
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory requirements in line with Philippine accounting and compliance standards
  
• Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements
  
• Support financial governance and process compliance across the business
  
• Assist with preparation of audit schedules, supporting documentation, and statutory filings
  
• Ensure proper financial record retention and compliance documentation

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Licensed CPA required
  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  
• Strong accounting and financial reporting experience
  
• Experience managing AP, AR, bookkeeping, and finance operations
  
• Strong analytical and problem -solving ability
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• Experience using ERP/accounting systems and reporting tools
  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
  
• Good communication and leadership skills
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience within technology, construction, managed services, projects, engineering, or professional services industries
  
• Experience in SME or fast -growing business environments
  
• Understanding of project accounting and operational cost tracking
  
• Experience improving processes and financial visibility
  
• Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo is advantageous
  
• Experience supporting operational and project -based businesses preferred
