Job Overview
The Country Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities for CHAGEE Philippines. This role involves managing financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting to support CHAGEE’s business objectives and ensure financial stability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of best practices within the retail sector, particularly in the food and beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support business growth and operational efficiency.
Budget Management: Oversee the preparation and management of the country’s annual budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to the SEA Finance Controller and Country General Manager.
Cost Control: Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Tax Management: Oversee tax planning and compliance activities, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings.
Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and addressing any findings or recommendations.
Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational and strategic needs.
Vendor and Supplier Management: Manage financial relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely payments and resolving any financial discrepancies.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations, marketing, and HR, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of financial strategies.
Financial Systems: Implement and maintain financial systems and tools to enhance financial reporting and analysis capabilities.
