Our Financial Markets and Wealth Management Group is looking for experienced professionals to join us at our Bonifacio Global City (BGC) site in the role of Investment Banking Officer.
As an Investment Banking Officer, you help manage the technical aspects of various equity and debt transactions, like IPOs, bond issues, and private placements. Your role includes assisting with different types of financial instruments, from fixed-rate notes to asset-backed securities.

What the role will entail
- Assist the Investment Banking Head and/or the Senior Investment Banking Officer in the identification, origination, syndication and execution of all Investment Banking transactions.
- Assist the Investment Banking Head and/or the Senior Investment Banking Officer in ensuring that the team complies with all internal, legal and regulatory aspects (including internal approvals) for all Investment Banking transactions.
- Ensure all transaction-related documentation confirms with regulatory and legal requirements specific to each transaction.
- Interface and liaise with all parties involved in the investment banking transaction.
- Act as the primary person for the Group for all internal administrative functions.
What were looking for
- At least a bachelors degree in Accountancy, Business, Economics, Banking and Finance or other business-related courses.
- MBA/CFA charter (level 2) or candidacy preferred.
- Law degree/CPA is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in Debt Markets/Capital Markets/Investment Banking (equity, fixed income securities, bonds, private placements, syndicated loans, advisory) preferably with exposure to mid to top-market corporates and financial institutions, both private and public in the Philippines.
- Knowledge of and experience in debt and equity products, financial advisory, capital markets, credit analysis, risk management, and relationship management.
- Good economics background, documentation skills, and regulations.
- Adept at Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Adept at financial modeling.
