The role of an IT Application and Platform Manager is to oversee the entire life cycle and daily operation of an organization's software applications and underlying platforms, ensuring they are reliable, secure, and aligned with business goals. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities to ensure seamless functionality and support.Application & Platform Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of all software, and custom systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Production Release Management: Plan and execute IT projects related to application development, integration, and upgrades, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Manage the software development life cycle and control the release process for all applications.
Team Leadership & Support: Lead, mentor, and coach a team of IT Apps Support professionals, providing guidance and support for daily operations and complex technical issues.
Documentation & Process Improvement: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems and processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in workflows.
