Job Description - IT LIMS Support Technician (Crystal Reports)

Job Description

Within the Corporate IT organization, you will join the IT Service Management team for LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems: G6 technology) providing technical support expertise: 

 

  • Resolve issues, maintain & improve application stability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability of business-critical systems. 

  • Provide 2nd & 3rd level application support for the application. 

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate Level of studies and/or Post-Secondary Education  in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject  

  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years similar working experience 

Required: 

  • Crystal Reports (versions 9.0 and later) maintenance / bug fixing experience  

  • Experience with Relational Databases (e.g.SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL) 

  • Relevant experience of SQL development including ability to write and tune sql code for optimized performance  

  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate it into meaningful reports.  

  • Experience in application support tasks and related support tools (e.g. Service Now) 

Ideally:

  • Knowledge of LIMS  

  • Understanding of laboratory workflows and data management processes. 

  • Experience with GIT projects’ repository 

  • Experience with Azure and application deployment 

  • Good understanding of the Application Lifecycle Management 

  • Used to work in an international environment
